Hello, I’m Priya, and I’m truly grateful you’ve found your way here. From a young age, creating with my hands has been my language of self-expression, and jewelry has always been the most intimate way I tell my story.

After studying jewelry design and working as a jewelry designer for various companies in India and Europe, I realized that while diamonds hold a captivating brilliance, my true passion lies with gemstones. Their rich colors, unique energies, and timeless stories have enchanted me from the very beginning.

In February 2017, I took a leap of faith and founded Rue Romantique. Though new to the world of business, one thing was clear—I wanted to craft jewelry that resonates deeply, using gemstones that speak to the soul.

For me, making jewelry is more than craftsmanship, it’s a joyful act of sharing passion and spirit. I’m honored to create something beautiful that becomes a special part of your world.

WHAT IS GOLD VERMEIL ?

At Rue Romantique, all our jewelry pieces feature 925 sterling silver or gold vermeil, which is a thick layer of gold (typically 18k/14k) plated over sterling silver, a precious metal. This combination offers intrinsic value and a higher quality status compared to brass, and stainless steel, which is prized more for durability than inherent worth. Gold Vermeil creates a rich, luxurious look similar to solid gold but at a more affordable price point.
